Business Analyst

Advantage Tech is looking for a Business Analyst for our Kansas City, MO Client.  The Business Analyst works with business partners across multiple functions to collect, analyze, design and document business requirements for projects of moderate to high complexity. This position is responsible for formulating and defining systems modifications and enhancements based on both user needs and broad knowledge and understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. The initial long-term project for this role will be the design and implementation of a new Contact Relationship Management application (Enact powered by Microsoft Dynamics CRM) for The Commerce Trust Company. The BLSA will be part of a highly functioning team to align technology solutions with business strategies. We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual to be a part of this team supporting our customers and users.

Key Responsibilities:
– Serve as the Product Owner liaison with multiple cross-functional teams to achieve the successful design and implementation of the CRM application for Commerce Trust Company.
– Collect, analyze, design and document business requirements of moderate to high complexity
– Formulate and define systems modifications and enhancements based on both user needs and broad knowledge/understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
– Manages application testing; develops test plans, test scripts and completes acceptance testing for projects of varying degrees of complexity and system upgrades.
– Provide support to internal users and define support and controls over the CRM systems. Coordinate communication on application issues between internal customers and external vendors/IT partners.
– Creates and manages implementation plan for production roll out of new products or processes.
– Manage/track service level agreements, business reviews, system outage notifications, system enhancement management, triage and implementation, upgrade notifications, test and account/test region management
– Develop, document and enhance system processes, as appropriate. Creates and updates training and administration documentation.

Key Position Requirements:
– Experience with CRM systems is required
– Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing or related discipline is preferred
– 2-4 years’ experience in a business analyst or similar role is preferred
– Strong customer-service orientation
– Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills
– Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation
– Effective ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
– Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
– Effective in individual contributor or team related role, as appropriate
– Business travel, as required
