Contract Manager

Advantage Tech is hiring! We are looking for a qualified individual to join our client company based in Columbia, MO. 

Primary Responsibilities Include:  

  • Manage the life cycle of agreements through the creation, negotiation, and termination of each contract, including being the primary negotiator of service agreements, amendments, supplements, service level agreements, and other agreements while representing Bluebird to its customers and vendors in a courteous and professional manner; 
  •  Engage internal subject matter experts for specific contract sections and terms and creating risk and variance worksheets as necessary for internal sign-off; 
  •  Participate in the written development and recommendation of policies; 
  •  Perform contract, RFP analysis, contract interpretation and risk assessment and communicate recommendations to senior management;  
  • Provide contract input, including the development of required service order language and the communication of other contract requirements to Bluebird’s Service Delivery group to ensure proper documentation and timely completion of customer orders;  
  • Other tasks as may be needed from time to time; 

Dimensions: 

This position works closely with other Bluebird employees, including the Executive Team, third party network providers, vendors, and customers. 

Required Qualifications:  

Essential: 

  • At least 2 years’ experience in contract management/negotiation;  
  • Ability to act with customer orientation and be attentive and responsive to both company and customer needs;  
  • Multi-task and maintain composure in a demanding work environment;  
  • Excellent command of oral and written communications; 
  • Strong organizational skills;  

Desired: 

  • Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite). Desired Knowledge, training, and understanding of the following:  
  • Four-Year College or equivalent experience; 
  • 2 years’ experience in telecommunications contract management/negotiation; 
  • Contract administration experience;  
  • Experience with contract management software; 
  • Telecommunications experience in local, state, and federal regulatory environment  
  • 2 years of lead negotiation experience 
  • Government contract management/negotiation experience.
