Desktop Support Analyst

Advantage Tech Candidate is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst for our Kansas City, MO client.  

Desktop Support  Analyst

Along with critical thinking skills and customer service skills the ideal candidate will have their A+ certification (Microsoft MCP or higher preferred). Must possess the following skills and be able to perform the following duties:

 

  • Imaging of laptops
    • Install OS
    • Install software
    • Patch / Firmware Update
    • Experience with Lenovo Thinkpad and Microsoft Surface devices is a plus
  • Troubleshoot break/fix
    • Windows 10 OS
    • Laptops
    • Peripherals
    • Printers  

 

  • Laptop upgrade
    • Memory upgrade
    • Hard Drive upgrade
  • Network
    • Wifi troubleshooting
    • LAN troubleshooting
    • Cisco Meraki / AP
  • Office 2016 / Skype For Business / Teams
    • Install and upgrade
    • Outlook troubleshooting
    • One Note troubleshooting
    • One Drive troubleshooting
    • Teams troubleshooting
    • Skype for Business troubleshooting
  • Conference Rooms
    • Skype / Teams Room System
    • Polycom Trio 8800
    • Surface Hubs

 

Additional experience and skills that would be good to have:

  • PowerShell
  • System Center Config Manager and/or Intune
  • Active Directory Forest Management
  • Hyper-V
  • Network management (WAN and LAN)
