Enterprise Business Analyst
Advantage Tech is searching for a consultant to assist their client as an Enterprise Business Analyst.
An Enterprise Analyst is responsible for partnering with business leadership to lead discovery and analyze of strategic initiatives, shepherd project proposals, and assist business units with operational needs. They help develop business cases to move through the project delivery pipeline, present finalized proposals to the senior leadership team for approval of project delivery resources.
They collaborate with the Project Management Office to provide analysis needs for IT and non-IT oriented projects, and they collaborate with technical analysts and architects on initiatives requiring or impacting technology to ensure technological solutions meet business needs.
Essential Functions
- Perform initial analysis on business initiatives and facilitate the enterprise project intake workflow.
- Embed with business leaders, product owners and key business stakeholders to help manage business portfolios, forecast future business needs, and shepherd projects from ideation sessions to delivery.
- Develop impact analysis documents to identify downstream impacts of proposed strategic initiatives
- Create business requirements documents, project charters, and other analysis documentation to facilitate project and product management teams in understanding, scheduling, and tracking projects.
- Serve as a liaison between product development teams and business stakeholders and product owners to determine business need of software products and the technical delivery of business requests.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert on at least one business product supported by development teams.
- Engage with business stakeholders, product owners and product managers to facilitate Project Management Office in guiding project decisions; assess the risks of various solutions and facilitate prioritization of competing business needs.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including, but not limited to: Creating UAT plans, facilitating identification of UAT participants, creation of UAT Issues Document to track identified bugs, priority, and resolution.
- Use project and task management software to track software development progress.
- Manage company-wide communications regarding software enhancements and project statuses.
- Conduct research and analysis on healthcare/user data.
- Plan and manage multiple assignments of varying scope.
- Adheres to the client’s Mission Statement, Core Values, Code of Business Conduct and Compliance Program.
- Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and New Directions Behavioral Health policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information
Job Qualifications
Required
- Associate Degree related to Analysis, Technical/Business Administration, or Communication fields and 4 years’ related experience, or at least 8 years of related experience.
- Experience engaging with senior/executive leadership.
- Firm understanding of SDLC (Software development Life Cycle) in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience creating business requirements documents.
- Experience writing tasks from requirements documents.
- Experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in various team settings.
