Full Stack Developer

Advantage Tech is looking for a Full Stack Developer to work hybrid remote for a client located in Omaha, NE (must be local to Omaha and willing to be onsite 3 days per week to be considered).  

Key Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of development experience 

• Experience working in a team environment 

• Ability to dive into the “why” when solving problems, uncovering root causes and crafting effective solutions that address the underlying issue 

• Experience with a front-end framework such as Vue JS, React, Angular, etc. 

• Experience doing full stack development, including database work and CSS styling 

• ColdFusion/Lucee experience is a plus 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develops applications using tools such as Angular, React, Vue JS, Node, Lucee, etc. 

• Design client-side and server-side architecture 

• Build front-end applications with appealing visual design 

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications 

• Write effective APIs 

• Test software to ensure it meets acceptance criteria 

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software 

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design 

• Write technical documentation 

• Assists in project planning and driving projects forward 

• Creates prototypes and gathers feedback to design software in an agile manner. 

• Determines new web technologies to utilize, such as frameworks, toolkits, etc. 

• Writes software in a secure manner that is not vulnerable to XSS, etc. 

• Troubleshoot and debug performance and functional issues that arise. 

• Maintains technical documentation. 

• Must be comfortable working with others. This position requires that the developer work closely with internal customers to determine requirements for applications and then to work with those customers through the completion of the project. Typical engagements are with sales, marketing, manufacturing and quality business analysts.
