Peoplesoft Software Engineer

Advantage Tech is seeking a contract Peoplesoft Software Engineer for our client.  The engineer will work with its General Ledger, Accounts Payable solutions. This position will be 100% remote.

The position is primarily responsible for production support and developing integrations for PeopleSoft Financials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operational support of PeopleSoft, including resolution of incidents, requests for ad hoc batch processing, and monitoring for performance issues of daily batch processing

• Develop and fully test integrations and APIs

• Create technical designs and documentation as required by SDLC

• Communicates, escalates, and/or resolves risks and issues related to assigned projects/initiatives

• Create and maintain change management requests and follow the change management process

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field preferred

• Minimum of 4 years of Software Engineering experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 solutions including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and PeopleTools 8.5x

• Prior experience of PeopleSoft Financials on MS SQL Server databases preferred

• 4+ years’ of professional experience in software analysis, development, engineering and support in a large/medium corporate setting

• Experience working in cross-functionally or across organizations

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

• Ability to handle multiple tasks of highly varied nature in a timely manner
