Quality Systems Lead

Advantage Tech is looking for a Quality Systems Lead for our Lee's Summit Client. 

 

The IT Quality Systems Lead serves as the primary person responsible for the planning, coordination, solution development and implementation activities related to the Non-production environments. This person will coordinate and consolidate the responsibility of communication and problem-solving activities for all the non-production environments, thus improving both the usability and stability of the environments. This will allow for better and more efficient code deployment and validation processes giving enhanced production code.

 

Job Description

  • Document each Non-Production environment purpose and usage
  • Develop and Document Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) for each Non-Production environment
  • Establish best practices, standards, policies, strategies, and guidelines that enable efficient company environment operations
  • Establish communication guidelines with stakeholders including data, application, and hardware owners within each Non-Production environment
  • Establish overall strategy for test data management tools
  • Monitor consistency of applications across all Non-Production environments
  • Co-ordinate, document and manage data refresh activities for Non-Production environments by understanding high level project schedules and deter project and/or environment refresh collisions
  • Serve as a key resource during Facets (Claim System) upgrade and data refresh activities for all planning and implementation strategies
  • Communicate and collaborate with project and technical teams on Non-Production environment requirements, delivery and support
  • Coordinate and manage the Non-Production test data strategy, including usage and training for Cognizant test data management tools
  • Ensures that all items under their responsibility follow the SDLC including all applicable change management processes
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices to recommend optimal solutions.  Acts as primary contact with project managers to provide updates and to coordinate efforts in order to maintain timely deliverables
  • Functions as liaison between business units, technology teams and support teams to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

 

Additional Job Description

  • Requires ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Requires effective leadership, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
  • Requires seven or more years of relevant technical or business work experience with demonstrated quality assurance, business analysis, risk management and project management experience
  • Additional years of qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
