Software Support Specialist

Do you have a problem solving mind set and do you enjoy working with clients?  This Omaha family oriented company is seeking to add to their customer support team supporting their software.  This person ideally would understand accounting basics and be able to problem solve a situation, work with the IT team to resolve the issue and then respond to client.  If you are good at problem solving and building relationships then this the right opportunity for you!

The Software Support Specialist should possess or develop a foundation in the distribution industry, and ERP Software functionality. With a foundation in these areas, you will build your understanding of our products and our approach to providing support to our customers. The Software Support Specialist will also participate in customer and internal training. This individual will provide support for other teams / departments as needed.


  1. Learn the products in order to provide support to customers
  2. Manage customer issues through out the process
  3. Assist other personnel in researching, testing or reproducing errors
  4. Documents information and work performed in resolving cases 
  5. Participates in teams, work groups or value added areas like Line of Business teams
  6. Attend / assist with training for internal personnel or customers / prospects
  7. Ability to demonstrate functionality to customers
  8. Performs other duties as assigned


  1. Good analytical, logical, research and problem solving skills
  2. Good verbal and written communication skills
  3. Ability to positively interact with all levels of the company and with others outside the company
  4. Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism and confidentiality
  5. Report writing a plus
  6. Software support experience, preferred


College degree in Supply Chain Management, MIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, related majors or equivalent work experience
