Sr. Business Analyst

Advantage Tech is hiring!  We are looking for a qualified individual to join our client that is fully remote.

The business analyst will be part of a business strategy team that includes a Project Manager and a Scrum Master and will play a key role in a process improvement center of excellence to accelerate delivery of high priority initiatives.

You are thorough and organized, digging into every problem to ensure no stone is left unturned, and you meticulously document your findings. You are the ultimate team player, always looking for opportunities to go beyond the task at hand and drive strategic value.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the home care team’s internal process SME, documenting the workflows of customers and internal stakeholders and identifying areas to improve our technology platforms to increase productivity and operational efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional discovery sessions to facilitate understanding and prioritization of business needs
  • Write comprehensive business requirements documentation, including business cases and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with the Product team to ensure the product design and roadmap align with business stakeholder needs
  • Collaborate with Business Insights & Analytics team to conduct actionable analysis to improve outcomes for our agencies and families
  • Own and maintain configuration of business workflows, dashboards and reports in the home care team’s CRM and other internal tools

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 4+ years of experience in a business analysis, product management or operations role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, economics or a related field
  • Proven track record of analyzing and solving complex operational problems in B2B, B2C and internal settings to deliver on goals
  • Experience writing detailed business requirements documentation
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proficiency in standard project and reporting tools, including Jira, Microsoft Office, and Smartsheet
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments
  • Understanding of Agile processes and ability to work with Agile teams to realize effective solutions to business problems
  • Demonstrated thinking at a high level about business strategy and vision
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Challenges assumptions in a constructive way and gives and receives feedback with equal grace
  • Ability to influence peers and managers to build consensus
  • Welcomes the unexpected, viewing uncertainty and change as opportunities instead of roadblocks
