Advantage Tech is looking for a System Administrator/Technical Support Specialist for our Kansas City, MO Client.
- Proven experience supporting and administrating an application
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and live environment debugging skills
- Coding/scripting experience
- Experience with web/application servers, such as JBoss, Tomcat, or WebSphere
- Experience with different kinds of serversOS, i.e. Windows, Linux, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with certificates
- Understanding of SQL and relational database structures
- Experience with reporting solutions, Business Objects preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively
- Demonstrates dependability and commitment to tasks
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate customer issues and questions, task updates, system problems, etc., to technical and non-technical individuals
- Agile methodologies/Kanban
Deliverable / Statement of Work:
As a member of a Kanban team, provide administration and day-to-day support of the PreferPay product, which is an application to facilitate digital payments for end-users across various industries. Manage incidents according to IT policy and the team’s procedures. Assist the team in maintenance-related items and upgrades of related systems components. Support on-boarding of new clients onto the platform.
