System Admin/Technical Support Specialist

Advantage Tech is looking for a System Administrator/Technical Support Specialist for our Kansas City, MO Client.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience supporting and administrating an application
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and live environment debugging skills
  • Coding/scripting experience
  • Experience with web/application servers, such as JBoss, Tomcat, or WebSphere
  • Experience with different kinds of serversOS, i.e. Windows, Linux, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with certificates
  • Understanding of SQL and relational database structures
  • Experience with reporting solutions, Business Objects preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrates dependability and commitment to tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to communicate customer issues and questions, task updates, system problems, etc., to technical and non-technical individuals
  • Agile methodologies/Kanban

 

Deliverable / Statement of Work:           

As a member of a Kanban team, provide administration and day-to-day support of the PreferPay product, which is an application to facilitate digital payments for end-users across various industries. Manage incidents according to IT policy and the team’s procedures. Assist the team in maintenance-related items and upgrades of related systems components. Support on-boarding of new clients onto the platform.
