Description & Requirements

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for understanding the user personas, current state, and market drivers of a product. You would act as a point person throughout the product’s life cycle. Balance concerns and feedback from multiple departments, key stakeholders, business leaders, and internal and external clients as appropriate. You will also manage the product roadmap by collaborating with both the business and technical teams.

Typical candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a field of study pertinent to the position, and/or they will have 2 to 5 years of experience in a previous role or position of a similar nature. Successful candidates will have strong written and verbal communication skills.

How You Will Contribute:

Responsible for managing the full lifecycle of assigned products

Assist with the development and presentation of business cases for newly purchased and COTS products and improvement to existing products to firm leadership

Lead product stakeholders in creating product vision, goals, functionality, and requirements

Manage cross-functional teams, potentially including both internal, vendor, and contract resources, to deliver quality, timely results

Create artefacts that clearly communicate the functional specifications, user stories, and wireframes of product features and requirements

Responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog and conveying targeted timeframes for delivery to the firm

Prioritize development activities with engineering teams, assist in determining the best technical implementation methods, work closely with QA on acceptance testing, and manage product launches

Drive success throughout the full product lifecycle, including operations and maintenance

Evaluate user adoption and assess user experience to identify enhancement opportunities and prioritize product roadmaps

Works with business owners to manage vendor relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate or Technical degree in a related field, bachelor’s degree preferred

2 years or more of experience in a similar role

Strong background in technology (e.g., requirements, design, development, architecture, cloud technologies, implementations, and operations)

Prior experience with solution design utilizing no and low-code development platforms and software product development

Prior experience in a professional services industry

Proven ability to lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations
