Business Process Analyst

JOB TITLE: Business Process Analyst

Fully remote

The Business Process Analyst is responsible for facilitating and leading continuous improvement initiatives focusing on quality and process improvement to drive scalability.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct a current-state assessment of existing business processes to identify and drive continuous improvements through variance reduction, waste elimination, and standardization
  • Proactively identify gaps and problems in support of company goals and create processes and solutions to address them
  • Design processes that drive scalability, efficiency, velocity, and enhanced customer experience
  • Develop process flow diagrams capturing end-to-end business processes
  • Collaborate with Technical Writers to develop and maintain process documentation
  • Design and implement data collection and measurement systems that will track and report process improvement performance, gauging the impact and effectiveness
  • Manage process improvement initiatives from implementation through handoff to process owners, ensuring a sustainable and smooth transition
  • Identify training needs and recommend appropriate training enhancements to management
  • Direct ad-hoc process excellence support and lead cross-functional teams on operational strategies and best practices
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders and positively influence and implement change
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners during the road mapping cycle to identify, influence, and drive impactful process solutions
  • Influence new process design to ensure high-level outcomes that are repeatable and scalable prior to new program implementation

 
Education, Experience, Certification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification or 5 years demonstrated equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Formal Lean training and experience leveraging key Lean management tools and methods including Kaizen events, preferred
  • Proficient using MS Office (Visio, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required; Lucidchart preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes
  • Experience using root cause problem-solving, change-management techniques and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
  • Results-oriented change agent with demonstrated ability to lead by influence and drive results without direct authority
  • Quickly cope with changes in circumstances and think about problems and tasks in novel, creative ways
  • Self-motivated and driven to make things better
  • Successfully engage and influence a wide range of employees from entry level to senior leader throughout the organization
  • Experience leading cross-department improvement initiatives
